I just returned from a tremendous Spring Break ! Trust me, I needed the down time.

I focused on the #1 Life Skill which is self evaluation. We are so often evaluating other people, situations and things and I needed to look inside.

I renewed my vows to myself, to love me more fully….How about you ? Do you really love yourself ? Do the things you are doing daily indicate that you love yourself or does everyone else come before you ? Would it even make you nervous to tell yourself I love you in the mirror. Try it.

Is there a challenge or problem that frustrates you right now? Perhaps there is a situation or person that you’ve become critical of. Does your frustration with what’s wrong cause you to lose sight of what’s right? I love this quote from Life Coach Extraordinaire of Life Connections http://www.lifeconnections.us  Glenn Smith : “Set a goal, fall short, set another goals, fall short,  you’ll still be way further along than if you didn’t set a goal at all. Enjoy the journey ! “

In relationships, jobs, finances and even your health, I’ve noticed that there is a natural tendency in our sometimes pessimistic culture to hone in on what’s wrong with people and situations. Sometimes this is the focus even when there isn’t much wrong at all.

This week, I challenge you to focus on what’s right in your life. Rather than, “What’s wrong with you?”, my question is

“What’s right with you and could it be worse?”
